The MSC 10 marine satellite compass from Garmin has a multi-band GNSS receiver and can also receive signals from multiple satellite systems, so you’ll always get reliable, accurate heading information.

Multi-band GNSS and multi-constellation

The satellite compass has a multi-band GNSS receiver (L1 and L5 GPS) and also receives the signal of several satellite systems (GPS, Galileo, GLONASS and BeiDou). This ensures extremely precise positioning (<1 m).

Accurate heading data

Multiple receivers deliver heading accuracy within 2 degrees.

10 hz update rate

Furthermore, the 10 Hz refresh rate provides detailed tracking information.

Built-in AHRS technology

The fully integrated attitude heading reference system gives better GPS heading information at high speeds.

Backup heading sensor

In the extremely rare case that you lose satellite signal, MSC 10 will seamlessly transition from GPS-based to magnetometer-based heading.
