Return & Refund Policy
Thank you for shopping with Moonlight Marine Services Ltd. We stand behind the quality of our marine electronics and want you to shop with confidence. Please review our return policy carefully before making a purchase.
1. Return Eligibility
We accept returns on eligible marine electronics products under the following conditions:
Return request must be made within 30 days of delivery.
Item must be unused, uninstalled, and in original condition.
Product must be returned in its original packaging, including all manuals, accessories, mounting hardware, cables, and documentation.
Products showing signs of installation, use in water, damage, modification, or missing components are not eligible for return.
Due to the sensitive and installation-specific nature of marine electronics (including chartplotters, sonar systems, radar units, autopilots, VHF radios, and transducers), strict adherence to these conditions is required.
2. Restocking Fee
All approved returns are subject to a 30% restocking fee.
The restocking fee covers:
Inspection and testing
Repackaging and inventory processing
Loss in resale value for opened marine electronics
The restocking fee will be deducted from your refund total.
3. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are non-returnable:
Installed or used electronics
Custom-ordered or special-order products
Clearance or final sale items
Software, digital charts, or activated mapping cards
Items returned without original packaging or missing components
4. Return Authorization (RMA Required)
Before returning any item, you must request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).
To request an RMA, please provide:
Order number
Item(s) being returned
Reason for return
Photos (if applicable)
Returns sent without an approved RMA may be refused.
5. Shipping Costs
Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
Customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
We strongly recommend using insured and trackable shipping.
We are not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping.
6. Damaged or Defective Items
If your item arrives damaged or defective:
Notify us within 5 days of delivery.
Provide photos of the packaging and product.
Do not install or use the item.
Manufacturer warranties may apply for defective products. Many marine electronics brands (such as Garmin, Raymarine, Simrad, Lowrance, and Furuno) handle warranty claims directly. We will assist you in initiating a manufacturer warranty claim when applicable.
7. Refund Processing
Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
Please allow 5–10 business days after we receive and inspect your return.
The 30% restocking fee and any applicable deductions will be reflected in the refund amount.
8. Order Cancellations
Orders canceled after shipment are treated as returns and subject to the 30% restocking fee.
Special-order items cannot be canceled once processed.
9. Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different item, please place a new order and return the original item following this policy.
10. Policy Agreement
By purchasing from us, you acknowledge and agree to this Return & Refund Policy, including the 30% restocking fee.
